Nosso povo
de fé
faz milagre
Canta a dor
estende a mão
dança junto
A existência
fica mais leve
no cirandar
O trabalho
menos pesado
se ritmar
Quando a mágoa
espreme o peito
ainda há canção
E se a alegria
volta mais cedo
um bom baião
De dois,
é bom demais...
_Bora brincar!

Our people,
faithfull
makes miracles
They sing the pain
hand in hand
and dance along
The existence
turns too soft
at circular dancing
The work
don't seems so heavy
if rhythm comes in
When the pain
is in their heart
There's still a song
And if joy
returns soon
we dance the 'baião'
Two of us
it's very good...
Come on and play along!
